This my 2nd poster design for the 1973 science fiction classic movie, Soylent Green. Based on Harry Harrison's novel, "Make Room! Make Room!", the world is vastly over populated and in decline. Global warming and pollution have devastated the planet and 40,000,000 people struggle to live in New York City. State sanctioned euthanasia clinics stay open all night accepting the sick, injured and elderly. Their sheet covered corpses are hauled away in garbage trucks and taken to the Soylent factory where they are turned into tasty green snack crackers known as Soylent Green.
